Temeteron Limited – Terms & Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions govern the contract between Temeteron Limited (“the Contractor”) and you (“the Customer”). You will be deemed to have accepted these Terms if you proceed with our services. Changes to these Terms require a written agreement signed by both the Contractor and the Customer. Please keep a copy of these Terms for future reference.
### 1. Interpretation of Terms
1.1 "We", "us", and "our" refer to Temeteron Limited.
1.2 "You" refers to the Customer.
1.3 "Goods" refers to the items being moved or stored.
1.4 "Agreement" refers to the contract formed by:
- 1.4.1 Scheduling a removal or storage date.
- 1.4.2 Written confirmation of the scheduled date.
- 1.4.3 Issuance and full payment of an invoice within 4 days for fixed-price removals or minimum charges for hourly removals.
- 1.4.4 Signing and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the Inventory form.
### 2. Quotation
2.1 Our quotations are inclusive of VAT.
2.2 Our quotation excludes customs, duties, and other fees unless otherwise stated. These fees are your responsibility.
2.3 We reserve the right to adjust prices due to unforeseen circumstances, such as:
- 2.3.1 If work is delayed beyond 1 month from the quotation date.
- 2.3.2 Currency fluctuations or changes in taxes or freight charges.
- 2.3.3 Additional work above the first floor (unless agreed).
- 2.3.4 Additional services such as dismantling fixtures.
- 2.3.5 Work requested outside normal business hours (7 AM–10 PM).
- 2.3.6 Delivery or collection complications like access issues.
- 2.3.7 Parking penalties incurred on your behalf.
- 2.3.8 Delays beyond our control increasing costs.
2.4 A contract is formed only upon our written confirmation within 2 business days following your acceptance of our quote.
### 3. Additional Work Not Included in the Quotation
3.1 Unless otherwise agreed, the following is not included:
- 3.1.1 Dismantling or assembling furniture or disconnecting/reconnecting appliances.
- 3.1.2 Removing fitted carpets or flooring.
- 3.1.3 Moving goods deemed unsafe by our staff.
- 3.1.4 Accessing goods from poorly lit or unsafe lofts.
3.2 Our staff are not authorized for these tasks, and you should arrange for qualified professionals.
### 4. Property Excluded from Our Contracts
4.1 The following items are excluded unless agreed in writing:
- 4.1.1 Jewellery, watches, money, documents, collections.
- 4.1.2 Prohibited, stolen, dangerous, or explosive items.
- 4.1.3 Items prone to infestation, contamination, or perishables.
- 4.1.4 Animals or plants.
- 4.1.5 Vehicles, boats, or caravans.
4.2 We are not liable for any excluded items. You will be responsible for any charges or claims resulting from such items.
### 5. Your Responsibilities
5.1 You agree to:
- 5.1.1 Provide the value of the goods being moved.
- 5.1.2 Sign and return the inventory and these Terms.
- 5.1.3 Obtain any necessary permits or documents for the move.
- 5.1.4 Pay parking or permit fees.
- 5.1.5 Be present, or arrange a representative, during the move.
- 5.1.6 Sign job sheets and ensure all goods are collected.
- 5.1.7 Prepare all appliances for removal.
- 5.1.8 Provide up-to-date contact details during the process.
### 6. Our Responsibility
6.1 We are responsible for delivering your goods in the condition they were in before the move.
6.2 We will pack and deliver your items carefully and ensure the agreed move schedule is respected.
6.3 In case of a late key delay, we will complete your move the same day without extra charges.
6.4 We will refund twice the removal value if our team fails to show up for the scheduled move.
### 7. Ownership of Goods
7.1 You confirm that:
- 7.1.1 The goods being moved are your property.
- 7.1.2 You have the authority to enter into this contract.
- 7.1.3 You will notify us if ownership changes before the end of the contract.
### 8. Postponements and Cancellations
8.1 Fees apply for cancellations/postponements:
- 8.1.1 Over 10 working days prior: No charge.
- 8.1.2 5-10 working days: Up to 30% of removal cost.
- 8.1.3 Less than 5 days: Up to 60%.
- 8.1.4 Less than 24 hours: Full removal cost.
### 9. Payment
9.1 Full payment or a minimum deposit is required before the move.
9.2 Overdue payments incur interest at 4% per annum above the Bank of England base rate.
### 10. Liability for Loss or Damage
10.1 Our liability is limited to the declared value of your goods or £30,000 (whichever is less).
10.2 We are not liable for "new for old" replacements.
10.3 You must notify us within 7 days of any damage to your premises.
### 11. Excluded Risks
11.1 We are not liable for:
- 11.1.1 Damage to motor vehicles, boats, or caravans unless carried within appropriate containers.
- 11.1.2 Electrical or mechanical breakdowns unless caused by external damage.
- 11.1.3 Pre-existing faults or damage.
11.2 Our employees are not separately liable to you.
### 12. Delays in Transit
12.1 Arrival and departure times are estimates, unless otherwise agreed.
### 13. Damage to Premises or Property Other Than Goods
13.1 Our liability is limited to the cost of repairs for damage caused by our staff, subject to written notice within 7 days.
### 14. Exclusions from Liability
14.1 We are not liable for damage to:
- 14.1.1 Goods in wardrobes, drawers, or containers not packed by us.
- 14.1.2 Fragile items like glassware unless packed by us.
### 15. Right to Subcontract
15.1 We may subcontract work, with the same Terms and Conditions applying.
### 16. Storage Charges
16.1 Storage charges may be reviewed periodically with 30 days' notice.
### 17. Sale or Disposal of Goods
17.1 If payments are in arrears, we may sell or dispose of your goods after three months’ notice.
### 18. Claims for Loss or Damage
18.1 Claims must be made within 7 days of delivery or collection.
### 19. Delivery Costs
19.1 Materials deliveries within London cost £15.
### 20. Governing Law
20.1 This contract is governed by English or Scottish law.
### 21. Entire Agreement
21.1 These Terms, together with our quotation, form the entire agreement.
### 22. Termination
22.1 Either party may terminate the contract with written notice (3 months from us, 10 days from you). Storage charges remain until goods are collected.
End Of Tenancy Terms
**22.2 Cancellation and Rescheduling**
- **22.2.1** Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the scheduled service time will not incur a fee.
- **22.2.2** Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance may incur a fee equivalent to one hour of service.
- **22.2.3** Rescheduling requests will be accommodated based on availability and must be made at least 72 hours before the service.
**22.3 Access and Safety Requirements**
- **22.3.1** The customer is responsible for ensuring safe access to the property. Any delay caused by restricted access may result in additional charges.
- **22.3.2** Temeteron Services reserves the right to refuse service if conditions are deemed unsafe or if access to the premises is not possible.
**22.4 Service Quality and Damage Policy**
- **22.4.1** Temeteron Services strives to provide high-quality services, but will not be liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or damage caused by faulty or fragile items.
- **22.4.2** Any complaints regarding service quality must be reported within 24 hours after service completion. We will address and, where applicable, resolve complaints at our discretion.
**22.5 Liability and Insurance**
- **22.5.1** Temeteron Services carries public liability insurance for up to £10,000. Liability is limited to damage or loss caused directly by staff negligence. Customer have to pay extra fees for this cover
- **22.5.2** Temeteron Services is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of items not specified in the service agreement.
**22.6 Customer Responsibilities**
- **22.6.1** The customer must remove any valuables and fragile items from the premises before service begins.
- **22.6.2** The customer must ensure that utilities (water and electricity) are available on-site if required for cleaning or other services.
- **22.6.3** If any items require special handling or care, it is the customer's responsibility to inform Temeteron Services in advance.
**22.7 Waste Disposal**
- **22.7.1** Waste disposal services will be provided within the legal guidelines for the area. Temeteron Services is not responsible for hazardous waste disposal unless explicitly agreed upon.
- **22.7.2** Additional charges may apply for disposal of large or hazardous items not specified in the original booking.
**22.8 Dispute Resolution**
- **22.8.1** Any disputes arising from services provided will be resolved amicably where possible. In case of unresolved disputes, both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in the UK.
**22.9 Modification of Terms**
- **22.9.1** Temeteron Services reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes before their scheduled service.
**22.10 Cleaning Services Provided**
- **22.10.1 Surfaces**: Dusting, wiping, and polishing surfaces such as tables, sideboards, and light fittings.
- **22.10.2 Floors**: Vacuuming and mopping floors and tiles.
- **22.10.3 Carpets**: Vacuuming carpets and rugs.
- **22.10.4 Appliances**: Deep cleaning of appliances, including the oven, hob, microwave, fridge, and freezer.
- **22.10.5 Bathrooms**: Descaling the shower, bath, and toilet, and scrubbing fittings.
- **22.10.6 Kitchens**: Wiping down kitchen cabinets and countertops.
- **22.10.7 Windows**: Cleaning windows inside and out.
- **22.10.8 Other Areas**: Removing cobwebs, mold, and limescale, and cleaning blinds and curtains.
- **22.10.9 Outside**: Sweeping and tidying outside areas.
- **22.10.10** End of tenancy cleaning is a valuable service to help customers ensure they get most or all of their deposit back.
By booking end of tenancy services, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
